The Beauty of Partnerships - ARC Power Empowering Villages
At ARC Power we know our strength lies in bringing power to rural communities. We excel in the generation, distribution and customer care involved in power provision. We also know that to be truly successful we need to empower our communities to achieve the goals of lifestyle improvement and productive use of power - that’s where partnerships come in.
Currently we are partnering with an amazing local company, Empowering Villages. Empowering Villages is undertaking basic business and entrepreneurial skills training with community members. Through this training people learn the skills to set up businesses, undertake business planning and through Empowering Villages access loans for the electric appliances they will need to make their business a success. We are excited about the Welding, Tailoring, Honey Farming Cooperative and Irembo agent that will soon join the business community on our grid.
